Separate the tracks. Build your mix.
One song, its instruments and your takes. Listen to a part, repeat a passage and record your version in Northphase Studio.
Choose the tracks to separate.
Import an audio or video file, then choose two, four or six tracks. You can also keep the Original and separate it later.

Listen to a part. Repeat the passage.
Mute a track or listen to it in solo. Adjust its volume and left/right position, then set a loop to practise the passage.
Add your voice or instrument.
Record with a microphone or import a personal take, even over an unseparated Original. A web project can hold up to eight takes.
Effects are for your takes.
Voice, guitar, bass, piano, percussion or other: each category offers five presets, adjustable intensity and a Before/After comparison. The exported mix includes these effects; separated tracks and source files remain intact.
Find your work again.
Search your library, filter projects by status and resume your session. Arrange songs in private playlists, in the order you want to practise.
Take the tracks or the mix with you.
- FLAC / ZIPFLAC · lossless audio, 24-bit / 44.1 kHz
- WAVWAV · mix file, 16-bit stereo
Two treatments, two uses.
Compare the result with the Original before downloading its WAV copy. These treatments stay separate from the mix and never replace your file.
Restore music
Treat compression defects in a saved Original, without separating it first. Processing may change the sound; it does not guarantee recovery of the initial recording.
Clean a voice
Designed for speech, on a separated vocal track or the whole Original. It may change singing and accompaniment: it is not a promise of musical restoration.
On desktop, tablet and soon mobile.
Web editing runs on computers and tablets. The iPhone and Android apps are coming, with an interface adapted to each platform.
Capabilities vary by platform: four personal takes on mobile, mixes exported as M4A and more extensive editing on the web. The previews illustrate each app without promising identical tools on every device.
